Halloween in Orlando: 90+ Days of Terror and Treats

If you want to embrace Summerween and start your spooky season adventures as early as possible, you’re going to want to plan a trip to Orlando. Halloween in Orlando extends for 90+ days of frightful and family-friendly Halloween events.

In Orlando theme parks, spooky season starts as early as August with family-friendly Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and terror-filled Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort.

Other highlights of Halloween in Orlando include immersive vampire experiences, haunted botanical gardens and forests, and plenty of trick-or-treat trails.

    Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World Resort brings spooky and not-so-spooky fun to Magic Kingdom Park on select nights from mid-August – Oct. 31.

    The Halloween entertainment and activities include the “Hocus Pocus” Villain Spelltacular! at Cinderella Castle, Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular, Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween  Parade, the Trick-or-Treat Trail, and more.

    Universal Orlando Resort’s Halloween Horror Nights brings 48 nights of sinister frights on select nights from late August through early November.

    The popular Orlando Halloween event features 10 terrifying haunted houses – including ones inspired by movies such as “A Quiet Place” and “Insidious,” five sinister scare zones, and nightmare-fueling live entertainment.

    Some of Universal Studios’ adrenaline-charged rides and attractions are open during Halloween Horror Nights too.

    SeaWorld Orlando Halloween Events

    SeaWorld Spooktacular

    On weekends from late August through early November, SeaWorld Orlando invites kids to dress up in their Halloween costumes and enjoy spooktacular Halloween fun.

    SeaWorld Spooktacular is a daytime family Halloween event included with regular park admission.

    The event features treat-or-treating, a Sesame Street Halloween Parade, Halloween mermaids, a fall Harvest Maze, and other fun Halloween activities.

    Another fear-filled event featuring haunts and thrills, SeaWorld Howl-O-Scream promises screams, terror and haunts on select nights from early September through early November.

    The spine-tingling fun for Halloween in Orlando includes haunted houses, scare zones, and themed bars.

    SeaWorld Howl-O-Sprint

    Run for your life at SeaWorld Howl-O-Sprint, a nighttime terror 5K. Runners can sprint past rollercoasters and through a creepy course haunted by curse-whispering characters.

    Those who make it through the terror can enjoy a late-night post-race party.

    LEGOLAND Florida Resort’s Brick-or-Treat Presents Monster Party

    At LEGOLAND Florida Resort, Brick-or-Treat Presents Monster Party is a family Halloween party included with theme park admission on select dates in September and October.

    The LEGOLAND Florida Halloween event features a trick-or-treat trail with LEGO monsters, monstrous entertainment, and even an aerial drone show.

     On select nights in September and October, Pirates Dinner Adventure in Orlando hosts “Vampirates,” a family-friendly Halloween-themed dinner show.

    The fang-tastic Broadway-style show features aerial artistry, swordplay, death-defying stunts, and dynamic duels in a 90-minute adventure.

    Experience spooky family fun with the crayon crew at Crayola Experience Orlando at Screamin’ Green Hauntoween from late September through Oct. 31.

    The family Halloween event in Orlando includes a spooky scavenger hunt, creepy-crawly crafts, character photo ops, weekend trick-or-treating, and more. 

    Happy Frights at Harry P. Leu Gardens

    A garden of immersive worlds await trick-or-treaters at Happy Frights at beautiful Harry P. Leu Gardens.

    On select dates from late September through Halloween, families can take a trick-or-treat journey through 13 themed worlds full of mystery and fun surprises.

    A Petrified Forest

    A Halloween attraction in Altamonte Springs, A Petrified Forest welcomes brave souls to its spooky forest scare trails on select nights in October.

    A Petrified Forest features haunted trails, laser tag, backstage tours, special event nights, and more. 

    Spooky Empire Horror Convention

    The dark side of Comic Con, Spooky Empire brings one of the largest horror conventions to Orlando for Halloween.

    Horror, Halloween and rock ‘n’ roll fans of all ages can meet popular horror movie and TV stars, buy collectibles from 200+ vendors, see new and classic horror films, join a Zombie Walk, and get tattooed by top artists.  

    Gators, Ghosts and Goblins at Gatorland

    A daytime Halloween event in Orlando, Gators, Ghosts and Goblins comes to Gatorland on select weekends in October.

    The family-friendly Halloween fun for all ages includes haunted zones, interactive characters, animal meet-and-greets, candy giveaways, a children’s Halloween costume parade, and more.  

    Lake Nona Graveyard Smash

    On one October night at Lake Nona Town Center, mortals can party with ghosts and ghouls at Lake Nona Graveyard Smash.

    Offered on select nights from late September through Halloween, Haunting Nights promises a spooky adventure that will elevate heart rates with thrilling surprises but no blood or gore.

    Orlando’s drive-thru haunted house, Scream n’ Stream Drive-Thru Halloween Experience brings terror-filled roads plus a haunted house to The Florida Mall on weekends in October.

    Nosferatu Vampire Experience

    An Orlando vampire experience for adults, “Nosferatu” is presented by Renaissance Theatre Company on select dates in September, October, and November. Nosferatu is an immersive vampire experience presented in three parts.

    In the main section of the performance, mortals wander through Nosferatu, housed inside 15,000 square-foot warehouse where vampires lurk around every corner.

    Later in the night, guests can sip V-Blood cocktails and watch dancers and drag performances in the V-Bar experience.
